Mike,

We are running on Windows NT so we're stuck with RSM. That was a level of
abstraction that I didn't need!

We are, however, running this library through a SAN Data Gateway. Latest
word is that the testing that has been completed was done using a different
SDG than the one at the customer site. They're trying to decide what to do:
make the one the customer has work or get them the other one.

This system is pretty strange. We are able to control the library and
apparently label tapes, but no label is actually being written on the tape.
The PMR number is 05100 so you can check out what has happened so far.
We're working with an excellent Level 2 guy whom you undoubtedly know: Chet
Tuttle.

It works when directly connected via SCSI, but won't work through the fiber.
I'm sure we'll get it, but it has taken way too long to make this work.

Is SAN ready? I think not.

The saga continues and thanks for your help.

Kelly
