We have a very bad performance for SQL queries
since we have upgraded the server (AIX 4.3.3)
to Version 3, Release 7, Level 4.0
I've only seen it on queries on the
occupancy table. Queries on other tables
seem to run fine, although I haven't
tried them all.
Every mornig at 8:00 I run
select stgpool_name as "Storagepool", \
sum(physical_mb) as "MB's" from occupancy \
group by stgpool_name
It finishes at 16:30 !
A query like this used to take a few seconds,
not 8.5 hours.
Halting en restarting the server makes the
problem go away for a day or two.
I wonder if this could be a memory leak.
Regards,
Alexander
