I have just inherited 2 servers that run MVS platforms --

I'm having trouble trying to figure out why their database is growing
constantly.  I have just reduced all of the copies of data kept and then
expired data - deleted nodes, managementclasses -- etc.  Nothing will reduce
this DB --

Could this be because the database is either a linear or VSAM dataset and
needs reorganization of some kind?

Any ideas from all of those experienced MVS users would be
appreciated....thanks, Gail
