I take my last statement back. Drives are defined with mt#.#.#.#.
The rmt is how unix sees the drive.
I shall contemplate this one again.

Subject: Solaris 2.7, ACSLS and DLT7000 Configuration hints
Folks,
We're having trouble defining the drives in the silo. We were able
to define the library, indicating the communications to ACSLS are
functional, but a define drive hangs ADSM. Does someone have a cookbook
approach to configuring ADSM on Solaris 2.7 to the ACSLS?
TIA,
Kelly Lipp
