Hi... is there any easy way to change the drivers that ADSM uses to
handle tapes?

We are having some awful problems with out DLT drives and Sun
Service/Support is demanding we get rid of the IBM tape drivers.


The parameter I need to change is the device *type* as in...

    define devclass dltclass DEVTYPE=DLT format=drive ...

to DEVTYPE=GENERICTAPE.

Changing the device name is easy.


[If anyone else is running ADSM v3 on Sun hardware with an ALT
Products DLT Library, I would really like to know.]
