Depends on how you connect the LANRES server (your OS/2 server) to
the mainframe. We started with LU6.2 and soon converted to a MMC card
(which now will be replaced by a 9663-001 - a PCI/ESCON card).
With the MMC card we got the throughput we would like to see.
