Server passwords are stored in the server database. They are encrypted. With
proper filesystem security established in the server's filesystem, they should
be as secure as UNIX passwords. If you have any more specific questions in

Out of curiosity, where in the server are administrator passwords
stored? Are they encrypted? Basically, the question is: are they
as secure as Unix passwords?
