Hello Marianne,
We wrote a shell script to shutdown various other stuff 'cleanly'
(things like Sybase and Oracle servers), before a shutdown -r.
We never added ADSM to the logic, and have been rebooting over ADSM
weekly for 2+ years without incident.
I'm curious why you want ADSM halted before a reboot?

Hi,
We have a adsm-server 2.1.5.12 on a AIX 4.2 system. We want to shutdown
the adsm-server during a reboot.
We're shutting down the adsm-server manually now before a reboot, but we
would like to automate this.
Does anyone have suggestions how to go about this?
TIA.
