We're running BACKINT 2.1.2 with SAP/R3 3.0F. An archive pool is
optional. If you have enough tape units to meet your backup window, you
can go directly to tape (BACKINT supports multiple concurrent sessions).
If you don't have enough tape drives, you can run multiple sessions to
an archive pool and let ADSM migrate the data to tape.

The thing to watch out for is that the BRARCHIVE utility will also run
the same number of sessions to process the off-line redo logs. This may
cause a performance hit on your database server.
