Two new "redbooks" for ADSM clients are available:

1) For NetWare, the book, GG24-4242, "Getting Started
with ADSM NetWare Clients", can now be ordered.

2) For AIX, the book, GG24-4243, "Getting Started with ADSM
AIX Clients", can now be ordered.

These books contain detailed examples of how to set up and
run ADSM clients on either a NetWare or AIX server and provide
details on how to configure TCP/IP and APPC (and IPX/SPX for
the NetWare environment) communications between the ADSM client
and server. The books provide backup and recovery scenarios
for user data, disk volumes, entire servers and site disasters.
The books also contain an introduction to both ADSM and either
NetWare or AIX for those not familiar with these products.

The books are intended for ADSM administrators, NetWare or
AIX server administrators, LAN and networking specialists,
storage administrators, and other technical personnel interested
in the ADSM client in either a NetWare or AIX environment.

The ADSM AIX book is an introductory discussion of using ADSM
with AIX and is not intended to cover advanced AIX topics or
integration of ADSM with other AIX-based products.
